Opening of our Kings Heath Shop and News Updates
As we welcome customers back through the doors of our lovely little independent shop in Kings Heath, Birmingham, we wanted to share some of the behind the scenes preparations and also update you with some changes both in store and as a brand.
The lifting of the Covid-19 lock-down launched the mammoth task of a “Spring Clean in Summer” for our shop. Karen and Cheryl have lovingly revamped every display – just imagine the dust after 3 months!
Alongside our core, colourful resin Watch This Space jewellery collections, we have also brought back our Naturals, Freshwater Pearls and Semi-Precious collections. Don’t miss out on the unique silver jewellery designs by Helen Walsh, and quirky jewellery range by Very Beryl. We also have stunning 925 Sterling Silver jewellery in modern, contemporary designs along with classic amber and semi-precious stones with silver - currently exclusive to our shop.
In addition to a treasure trove of jewellery, we sell scarves, bags, purses and jewellery rolls, again, many of which is exclusive to shop.
We also have a growing range of gift cards not found in your average high street shop, specially selected to compliment the uniqueness found in our jewellery range, a perfect addition to any gift or a stand alone special card to a loved one.
Kings Heath, Birmingham
For those who have not visited Kings Heath before, it’s a quirky and diverse suburb of South Birmingham near Moseley with some lovely side streets that are brimming with unique Independent businesses endeavouring to trade ethically and responsibly. We are located on one such road called Poplar Road which boasts a handmade clothing and lifestyle shop (People), Organic Skincare (Honest), Crafty gifts and supplies (Armadillo), an artisan bakery (Maison Macy), antique curiosities (Antique and Curios Creations), along with a gorgeous coffee shop cafe (Bloom) plus many other independent businesses. Of course, we would love you to come and visit us and see our complete range - with such variety on offer, it is a street not to miss! Also check out York Road if you make the trip!
Support Small Independent Businesses
Consumers have long been conscious of shopping local and supporting independent businesses, but now more than ever during the coronavirus times, our sector needs the support of customers. Diversity and unique products are key things that we covet as consumers and independent shops, cafes and restaurants help to make every town, suburb and village unique – there is nothing more pleasing than finding a “hidden Gem”. Please try to support your local community wherever possible and wherever that may be, shop local, shop consciously and make a pledge to give good gifts!
Lastly, we wanted to do a quick update about our business. Our shop is now under new management as we have merged our e-commerce business "The Jewellery Stop (Online) Limited" and the bricks and mortar shop in order to streamline our brand and customer services and we look forward to introducing you to the many benefits of this in the near future. You will now find "The Jewellery Stop (Online) Limited on shop receipts too!
Our website will benefit from an extended range. Plenty to look forward to and look out for on our website in the weeks to come.
We look forward to introducing a new gift voucher option during late August which will be valid on our website just as they are in our shop, purchase or spend them where you like. If you happen to have existing shop vouchers, they will continue to be valid but we do recommend you use them soon!
