Kings Heath BID Map Traffic

Kings Heath BID - Enjoy Kings Heath have put together a map (below) of King Heath detailing the parking, modal filters and transport links along with a blog page about the traffic and travel to kings heath which you can find at https://www.enjoykingsheath.com/blog/keeping-kings-heath-connected.html.

Travelling by Car:

From the M42 take J3 and exit onto the Alcester road A435 towards Birmingham. The A435 travels directly through Kings Heath. If using SAT NAV our post code is B14 7AD. Please note that you will need to travel down the high street to access Poplar Road due to several side streets in Kings Heath having restricted access due to the LTN bollards that are in place.

Parking:

There are several places to park in Kings Heath.

  • Free: The most convenient is street parking on Poplar Avenue (cul de sac) which is adjacent to our shop. It can get busy, but there is usually a free space. All other side streets around Kings Heath are also free, however please be aware there are several LTN bollards in Kings Heath which do not yet show up on SAT NAV as they are still in a trial period. You can park for free for up to 1 hour at Asda which is a short walk to our shop. The car park is accessed via Poplar Road. Fines may be given for overstays.
  • Pay to Park: Birmingham City Council Car Park located near the old Kingsway Cinema, post code B14 7LB – accessed via the high street. Euro Car Park located on Institute Road, post code B14 7EG.

Travelling by Bus:

From Birmingham Town Centre, (travelling through Digbeth and Moseley) take the 50 bus route towards Druids Heath or the 35 bus route towards Hawkesley via Kings Heath.

There are several bus stops along Kings Heath high street, the bus stop for Poplar Road is next to the old Kingsway Cinema.

The surrounding areas of South Birmingham are well connected via bus routes that travel to Kings Heath, these include the 11C, 27 and 76. Some of these routes do not travel along the high street, so you need to alight at All Saints Church which is at the top end of Kings Heath high street.

A virtual Tour!

In July 2020 we had a Google virtual tour done of our shop, just a sneak preview of what you might expect on a shop visit below! We regularly update our displays and we have plenty of new trending colours and designs arriving on a monthly basis.

Just for Fun: There's a hidden code in the tour below! Conditions are one time use so an account must be registered on our website first to use it on checkout and you must be logged in, and it does not apply to gift vouchers. We'll say no more than this. Please don't share, it's a secret fun reward!
