Ordering & Payments

How do I place an order?

Browse our website by category or use the search box at the top of our site to find what you're looking for, then add the items you'd like to your basket.

Where matching or coordinating items are available, you'll find these on the individual product pages to help you complete the look.

When you're ready to order, you can go directly to checkout from the basket drawer, or select View Basket first to review your order before clicking Checkout.

During checkout, you'll be asked to confirm your delivery and billing information, choose from the available delivery options and select your preferred payment method.

Once your order has been placed successfully, we'll send an order confirmation to the email address you provided.

What payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods available to you are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on your country or region. Simply select your preferred available payment method when completing your order.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No, you can place an order without creating a customer account. Creating an account can, however, make it easier to view your order history and access available account features.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If you need to cancel an order, you can submit a cancellation request through your customer account.

Alternatively, or if you need to make a change to your order, please email or telephone us as soon as possible, quoting your order number.

If your order hasn't already been processed or dispatched, we'll do our best to cancel it or make the requested change. Once an order has entered processing or been dispatched, we may not be able to make changes or stop the shipment.

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Please contact us immediately if you notice an error in your delivery address. We'll do our best to correct it before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered processing or been handed to the delivery provider.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. The Jewellery Stop gift vouchers are available in a selection of values and can be used towards purchases on our website.

Gift vouchers are issued and sold in British Pounds (GBP). If you're shopping from another country, the GBP value will be displayed in your local currency using the applicable exchange rate at the time. The value of the gift voucher itself remains denominated in GBP.

Unless otherwise stated when purchased, gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Gift Vouchers Here

Can I use a discount code or gift voucher code?

Yes. If you have a valid discount code or gift voucher code, enter it in the appropriate field during checkout before completing your order.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order, and some products or promotions may be excluded.

If you have more than one gift voucher code, you can use multiple gift vouchers towards the same order.

Why has my payment been declined?

Payments can occasionally be declined for a number of reasons, and we're not always provided with the specific reason by the payment provider.

If your payment isn't accepted, please check:

  • Your card or payment details have been entered correctly.
  • Your billing address matches the details held by your bank or payment provider.
  • You are shopping in the correct country or region for your delivery address.
  • If you're using a VPN, try turning it off and refreshing the website, as this can sometimes cause your detected location to differ from your actual location.
  • Your bank hasn't blocked the transaction for security reasons or because it is an online or international purchase.

You can also try another payment method where one is available. If your payment continues to be declined, we recommend contacting your bank or payment provider, as they will usually be best placed to explain why the transaction hasn't been authorised.

How do I know whether my order has been placed successfully?

Once your order has been placed successfully, you should see an order confirmation on the website and receive an order confirmation email at the email address supplied during checkout.

If you're unsure whether an order completed, please check your email and customer account before trying to place it again. If you still cannot confirm the order, contact us before submitting a duplicate order.

I haven't received my order confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first and make sure you are checking the email address used at checkout.

If you have a customer account, you can also sign in to check whether the order appears in your order history. If you still cannot find confirmation, please contact us and include your name and any order information you have available.

Can I place an order by telephone?

Please use our website checkout wherever possible so that your order, payment and delivery information are processed securely through Shopify.

If you need help placing an order, please contact us. We can explain the shopping process and available options, but never send full card details or card security information by email, contact form or chat.

Can I reserve an item without paying for it?

Items placed in a basket are not reserved and remain available for other customers to purchase until checkout is completed.

If you need to ask about reserving a particular item, please contact us. Any reservation is subject to stock availability and confirmation by The Jewellery Stop team.

Does putting an item in my basket reserve it?

No. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve the stock. The item remains subject to availability until your order has been completed.

Can an item become unavailable after I place an order?

Very occasionally, yes. We update stock information regularly, but an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If this happens, The Jewellery Stop team will contact you and explain the available options. We will not substitute an unavailable item without your agreement.

Why is the price different when I change country or region?

Prices may vary between countries and regions because of currency conversion, applicable taxes, duties and other costs associated with supplying an order to the selected destination.

Please select the correct country or region and rely on the prices shown on the product page, basket and checkout for your destination.

Can I combine more than one discount code?

Unless a promotion specifically states otherwise, only one discount code can normally be used per order. Some promotions or products may also have their own exclusions.

Gift vouchers are different: more than one gift voucher may be used towards the same eligible order.

Do you have a newsletter discount for new subscribers?

Yes. New newsletter subscribers receive a 10% welcome discount code after successfully signing up.

The welcome offer is for new subscribers only. If you have previously subscribed and later unsubscribed, signing up again will not generate another welcome discount code.

You can find more information on our Newsletter page.

I'm already subscribed to your newsletter. Do I have a discount code?

There is no permanent general newsletter discount code for existing subscribers. From time to time we may send special promotions or offers, so staying subscribed is the best way to hear about them when they are available.

I signed up for the newsletter but didn't see my 10% code. What should I do?

The 10% welcome code is displayed after a successful eligible new-subscriber signup. If you believe you are a new subscriber and the code was not shown, please try the signup process again carefully and check that it completed successfully.

If you still have a problem, please contact us. Please do not create multiple subscriptions or accounts simply to try to generate another code.

Can I pay in my local currency?

International customers can shop in local currency where supported. The currency and payment methods available for your selected country or region will be shown on the website and at checkout.

UK Delivery

How quickly will my order be dispatched?

Orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days. Wherever possible, orders received before 10am Monday to Thursday are dispatched on the same working day.

Our shop and office are open Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm. We are closed on Fridays, weekends and Bank Holidays, so orders placed during these times will be processed when we reopen.

What UK delivery services do you offer?

We offer a choice of UK delivery services including Royal Mail 1st Class, Royal Mail tracked services, Royal Mail Special Delivery and DPD, depending on your order and delivery address.

The delivery services available for your particular order are shown at checkout.

How much does UK delivery cost?

Delivery charges depend on your order value and the delivery service selected. Available options and their prices are clearly displayed before you complete checkout.

Our delivery charges include the carriage cost together with the packaging and handling required to prepare and dispatch your order, so the amount charged for delivery may not be the same as the postage or courier label price.

You can find our current UK delivery prices in our Delivery Policy.

Do you offer free UK delivery?

Yes. We offer FREE Royal Mail Tracked 24® delivery on orders over £70.

Faster or alternative delivery services may also be available for an additional charge at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes, if you select a tracked delivery service. Tracking information will be provided when your order is dispatched.

Royal Mail 1st Class is not a tracked service. Royal Mail Tracked, Special Delivery and courier services provide tracking information so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

How long will my UK order take to arrive?

The estimated delivery time depends on the service selected. As a guide:

Royal Mail 1st Class: 1–3 business days
Royal Mail Tracked 48®: 3–5 business days
Royal Mail Tracked 24®: 1–2 business days
Royal Mail Special Delivery: 1–2 business days

These are estimated delivery times rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless specifically stated otherwise. Delivery times are in addition to any time required to process and dispatch your order.

Do you deliver to the Isle of Man?

Yes. We deliver to the Isle of Man, which has its own shopping region on our website.

If you're shopping from the Isle of Man, please ensure Isle of Man is selected from the country/region selector at the top of the website or from the menu on mobile. This ensures that the correct prices and delivery options are displayed for your location.

Available delivery services and charges will be shown at checkout before you complete your order.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

First, please check any tracking information provided with your dispatch confirmation, as this may show the latest delivery update or whether the delivery provider has attempted delivery.

Please also allow for weekends, Bank Holidays and possible carrier delays when considering the estimated delivery time.

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us quoting your order number, and we'll be happy to investigate it for you.

Is Royal Mail 1st Class tracked?

No. Royal Mail 1st Class is an untracked postal service. If tracking is important to you, please choose one of the tracked Royal Mail or courier options shown at checkout.

Does Royal Mail Tracked 24 guarantee next-day delivery?

No. Royal Mail Tracked 24® is normally estimated at 1–2 business days after dispatch, but this is an estimated service rather than a guaranteed next-day arrival unless specifically stated otherwise.

Which UK delivery option should I choose if I need my order quickly?

Please compare the current delivery services and estimated delivery times shown at checkout. Royal Mail Tracked 24® and Special Delivery are among the faster services we offer, depending on your order and address.

If delivery by a particular date is essential, please contact us before ordering rather than relying only on an estimated delivery time.

Can you guarantee delivery for a particular date?

Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree that delivery by a particular date is essential.

If you need an order for an important date or event, please contact us before ordering so we can explain the options available. We cannot guarantee an estimated carrier service simply because a particular date is preferred.

My tracking says delivered but I can't find my parcel. What should I do?

Please first check the tracking details carefully, including any delivery photograph, safe-place information or delivery notes provided by the carrier. Check around the property and with anyone else at the delivery address who may have accepted it.

If you still cannot locate the parcel, contact the delivery provider using the tracking number. If the problem remains unresolved, please contact us quoting your order number and tracking number.

My tracking hasn't updated. What should I do?

Please allow some time for the carrier's tracking system to update after dispatch. If tracking remains unchanged beyond the expected delivery period, contact the delivery provider using your tracking number for the latest information.

If you cannot resolve the issue with the carrier, please contact us quoting your order number and tracking number.

Channel Island Orders & Delivery

Do you deliver to Jersey and Guernsey?

Yes. We deliver to both Jersey and Guernsey.

Jersey and Guernsey each have their own shopping region on our website, with delivery and tax arrangements that differ from both mainland UK and our other international destinations.

How do I shop from Jersey or Guernsey?

Please select Jersey or Guernsey as appropriate from the country/region selector at the top of the website or from the menu on mobile.

It's important to select the correct region before shopping so that you see the correct product prices and tax information for your destination.

How much is delivery to Jersey and Guernsey?

Tracked delivery to Jersey and Guernsey is £20 per order for orders under £100.

Free tracked delivery is available on orders of £100 or above.

Your order will be sent using a tracked courier service selected by The Jewellery Stop.

Our delivery charge includes carriage together with the packaging and handling required to prepare and dispatch your order, so it is not intended to represent only the courier's label price.

Which courier will deliver my order?

We select an appropriate tracked courier service for your order. Depending on the shipment, we may use FedEx, DHL, UPS or other reliable service.

Tracking information will be provided when your order is dispatched so you can follow its progress.

Will I have to pay tax when my order arrives?

GST, if applicable, may be payable once your order arrives in Jersey or Guernsey.

Any local taxes or charges are determined by the destination and are separate from the delivery charge paid to The Jewellery Stop.

International Orders & Delivery

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes. The Jewellery Stop delivers to a wide range of countries worldwide.

To see whether we deliver to your location, select your country or region using the country/region selector at the top of the website or from the menu on mobile.

Once your correct region is selected, the website will display the appropriate shopping information for your destination.

Why should I select the correct country or region?

Selecting the correct country or region ensures that you see the appropriate currency, product prices, duties and tax information, and delivery options for where your order will actually be delivered.

If you're using a VPN, your location may not always be detected correctly, so please check the selected country or region before shopping and completing checkout.

Why are international prices different from UK prices?

International prices aren't simply our UK prices converted into another currency.

Depending on your destination, prices may include applicable import duties, import taxes, currency conversion and costs associated with facilitating the international transaction.

This means an international product price may appear higher than the equivalent UK price after a simple currency conversion, but many of the costs associated with importing your purchase are already being dealt with as part of your order.

Are duties and import taxes included in international prices?

Where applicable, import duties and import taxes are included in the prices displayed on our website for your selected destination.

You'll also see destination-specific duties and tax information on our product pages and during checkout.

This is why it's important to make sure you have selected the correct country or region before shopping.

What is the difference between import tax and local tax?

Import duties and import taxes are charges associated with bringing goods into your country and, where applicable, are handled as part of your international purchase.

Some destinations may also have local or regional taxes determined by your delivery address. For example, applicable US state and local sales taxes may be calculated according to where your order is being delivered and shown separately at checkout.

Any applicable local tax collected during checkout will be displayed before you complete your order.

Will I have to pay import charges when my order arrives?

For international orders handled through Global-e, applicable import duties and import taxes are dealt with as part of your purchase, so you should not normally be asked to pay additional import charges when your parcel arrives.

Any applicable local or regional taxes collected at checkout will also be shown before you complete your order.

Please make sure you are shopping in the correct country or region so that the information displayed is appropriate for your delivery destination.

Who is Global-e and why do they appear during checkout?

We work with Global-e, a specialist cross-border ecommerce provider, to facilitate international orders.

Global-e helps us provide international shopping services including local currencies, payment processing, duties and taxes, customs requirements and other cross-border services.

Where Global-e is involved in your purchase, its applicable terms and privacy information are made available through the basket and during checkout.

Which international delivery services do you use?

International orders are sent using tracked courier services.

Depending on your destination and order, available services may include DHL Express Worldwide and FedEx International Connect Plus®.

The delivery options available for your particular order will be displayed at checkout.

How much does international delivery cost?

International delivery charges depend on your destination, order and selected delivery service.

Available delivery services and prices are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Our delivery charges include the cost of carriage together with the packaging and handling required to prepare and dispatch your order, so the amount charged for delivery is not intended to represent only the courier's label price.

Do you offer free international delivery?

Yes. Free tracked delivery is available on qualifying orders to selected international destinations.

Free delivery thresholds vary by destination and are currently available for selected destinations including the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

When your order qualifies, the available free delivery option will be displayed at checkout.

You can find the current destinations, qualifying thresholds and delivery services in our Delivery Policy.

How quickly will my international order be dispatched?

International orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 working days. Wherever possible, orders received before 10am Monday to Thursday are dispatched on the same working day.

Our shop and office are closed on Fridays, weekends and Bank Holidays, so orders placed during these times will be processed when we reopen.

How long does international delivery take?

Delivery times vary depending on your destination and the courier service selected.

Estimated delivery times are displayed alongside the available delivery options at checkout.

International deliveries can occasionally be affected by customs processing, local public holidays, severe weather or delays within the courier network, so delivery estimates cannot always be guaranteed.

Can I track my international order?

Yes. Our international delivery services are tracked.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking information so you can follow the progress of your shipment.

We also provide the courier with the contact information required for delivery, such as your email address and telephone number, so they can contact you about your shipment where necessary.

What should I do if my international order hasn't arrived?

Please check the tracking information provided with your dispatch confirmation first, as this will normally show the latest progress of your shipment.

If your parcel is delayed or there appears to be a delivery problem, we recommend contacting the courier directly first, quoting your tracking number. They will usually have the most up-to-date information about your shipment and may be able to resolve delivery issues directly with you.

If you're unable to resolve the problem with the courier, or you need any further help, please contact us quoting your order number and tracking number and we'll be happy to assist.

Product availability can still vary by destination because of local import requirements or restrictions. Please select your correct country or region before shopping.

Do you deliver to Afghanistan?

Yes. Afghanistan is currently included in our published list of delivery destinations. Please select Afghanistan as your country or region before shopping so that the website can show the products, pricing and delivery information available for that destination.

Do you deliver to North Korea?

No. North Korea is not included in our current published list of delivery destinations, so we do not currently offer delivery there.

If I can see a product after selecting my country, can I order it?

Generally, yes. Product availability can vary by destination because certain goods may be restricted by local import requirements. Products that cannot be supplied to a selected destination may not be displayed.

Please make sure the correct country or region is selected and then check the basket and checkout for the delivery options available for your shipping address.

Why has a product disappeared after I changed my country or region?

Not every product can necessarily be supplied to every international destination. Product availability may be restricted according to the nature, materials or classification of the product and the import or regulatory requirements of the destination.

If a product disappears after you select another country or region, it may not currently be available for that destination.

Does international product availability depend on my shipping address?

Yes. Your destination and shipping address can affect the products, prices, taxes, duties and delivery services available to you.

Please select the correct country or region before shopping and enter the correct shipping address during checkout so that the order information shown is appropriate for your destination.

Will I get unexpected duties or import taxes when my order arrives?

For many international destinations, applicable import duties and import taxes are included, collected or otherwise accounted for as part of the international purchase.

Please check the product page, basket and checkout for the information applying to your shipping address. Where the website states that duties and taxes are included, you should not normally be asked to pay additional import duties or import taxes when the parcel is delivered.

Local, state, provincial or regional taxes are different and may be calculated separately at checkout where applicable.

If the product page says duties and taxes are included, will I pay them again on delivery?

You should not normally be charged the same import duties or import taxes again on delivery where the website states that they are included, collected or otherwise accounted for as part of your purchase.

Please rely on the information shown for your shipping address on the product page, basket and checkout.

Are duties and taxes included for every country you deliver to?

No single rule should be assumed for every destination. International tax and import arrangements vary according to the shipping address and how the order is processed.

For many destinations duties and import taxes are included or otherwise accounted for in the displayed international price. Please check the product page, basket and checkout for the information applying to your order.

Is the international product price simply the UK price converted into my currency?

No. International prices can reflect more than currency conversion. Depending on the destination they may include or account for duties, taxes and other costs associated with facilitating the cross-border transaction.

Why does the website show the wrong country for me?

Automatic location detection is not always perfect. VPNs, mobile networks and internet-provider routing can sometimes make your location appear to be somewhere else.

Please use the country/region selector to choose the country where the order will actually be delivered before relying on prices or delivery information.

I'm using a VPN. Can that affect the country or prices I see?

Yes. A VPN can make the website detect a different location from the one where your order will actually be delivered.

If anything looks wrong, turn off the VPN if practical, refresh the website and select the correct country or region manually.

Can I shop in one country or region and have the order delivered to another?

Please shop using the country or region that matches the actual delivery destination. Prices, product availability, duties, taxes and delivery services can vary by destination.

If the selected shopping region and shipping address do not match, checkout may ask you to correct the destination or the available information may change.

Why can international delivery prices change when I change the basket?

International courier rates depend on factors including destination, order contents, weight, size and the delivery service available. Changing the products or quantities in the basket can therefore change the delivery options or price shown at checkout.

Why does Global-e appear on my bank or payment statement?

Certain international purchases are processed in partnership with Global-e, which may act as merchant of record for the international transaction.

Your payment statement may therefore show a reference identifying Global-e together with The Jewellery Stop or our brand name.

How do I know the final amount I will pay on an international order?

Please select the correct destination and review the product page, basket and checkout. The final product prices, delivery charges and any additional taxes or charges payable through the order will be shown before you submit the order.

Your own bank or payment provider may separately apply charges such as foreign-transaction fees, which are outside The Jewellery Stop's control.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Can I return an item?

Yes. Most items can be returned provided they meet the conditions in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Please take reasonable care of anything you intend to return and keep the item, packaging and any labels in appropriate condition.

Some items may be excluded from return for hygiene or other reasons, so please check our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.

How long do I have to return an item?

If you change your mind about an eligible online order, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods that you wish to cancel or return the order.

Once you have notified us within that 14-day period, you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.

If your order contains items delivered separately, the first 14-day period runs from the date you receive the last item.

Your rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are separate from this change-of-mind period and are explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

How do I request a return?

You can submit a return request through your customer account on our website.

Select the relevant order and the item or items you'd like to return and follow the instructions provided.

If you're unable to request the return online or need some help, please contact us quoting your order number.

Where do I send my return?

Once your return has been authorised, please send it to the return address provided in our return instructions.

Please don't send an item back without following the return process first, particularly for an international order, as different instructions may apply.

Who pays for return postage?

For a normal return where you've changed your mind, you are generally responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Different arrangements apply where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described, so please contact us before returning it.

Full details are available in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Can earrings be returned?

For hygiene reasons, earrings for pierced ears cannot normally be returned if their sealed packaging has been opened after delivery.

If the hygiene seal or packaging remains intact, you may return eligible earrings under our normal cancellation and returns terms.

This restriction does not affect your legal rights if the earrings are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. If there is a problem with your earrings, please contact us before returning them so that we can help.

Full details are available in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Can I exchange an item?

If you'd like a different item, colour or style, please submit a return request or contact us.

Whether a direct exchange is possible will depend on the item and available stock. Where an exchange isn't practical, we may ask you to return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

What if my item is faulty, damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us as soon as possible, quoting your order number and explaining the problem.

We may ask you to provide photographs so that we can assess the issue and arrange the appropriate solution.

Please don't return a faulty, damaged or incorrect item before contacting us, as we may need to provide specific return instructions.

Will my original delivery charge be refunded?

This depends on the reason for the return and your applicable consumer rights.

Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel an entire eligible order, the applicable standard outbound delivery charge may also be refundable. If you selected a more expensive premium delivery service, any additional amount above the standard delivery option may not be refundable.

For a partial return, the original delivery charge is generally not refunded because the delivery service still applied to the items you kept.

Full details are available in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Can I return an international order?

Yes. Eligible international orders can be returned.

Please request the return before sending anything back and follow the instructions provided. You are generally responsible for return postage for a change-of-mind return.

International returns can involve additional considerations, particularly where duties and taxes formed part of the original purchase, so please see our Returns & Refund Policy for full information.

What happens to duties and taxes if I return an international order?

If you exercise a legal right to cancel an eligible international order, your refund will include the amounts you are legally entitled to have reimbursed, which may include duties and taxes paid as part of your original purchase.

The exact refund will depend on the circumstances of your return, your destination and the applicable consumer law.

Please note that this is different from any return shipping costs or new customs charges incurred when sending goods back to us, which may remain your responsibility unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for full details of international returns and refunds.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll process an approved refund as soon as reasonably possible.

The refund will normally be made to your original payment method. After we've processed it, your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.

For international orders, the way duties, taxes and other amounts are treated can depend on the circumstances of the return. Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.

What's the difference between a change-of-mind return and a faulty or incorrect item?

A change-of-mind return is where the goods are not faulty but you decide you no longer want an eligible item. Different arrangements apply where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

For a change-of-mind return you generally arrange and pay the return postage. For a fault, damage or incorrect supply, please contact us before sending anything back so that the individual problem can be handled appropriately.

Do I need to request a return before sending anything back?

Yes. Please request the return through your customer account or contact us where appropriate before sending goods back.

This is particularly important for faulty, damaged, incorrect and international orders, where specific instructions may apply.

Can I start a normal return through my customer account?

Yes. Sign in to your customer account, select the relevant order and the item or items you want to return, then follow the return-request instructions provided.

Do I start a return from my confirmation email or my customer account?

Returns are started through your customer account rather than through the order-confirmation email. Sign in, select the relevant order and follow the return-request process.

If you cannot access the return process online, please contact us for help.

What condition should a change-of-mind return be in?

Please take reasonable care of anything you intend to return and keep the item, packaging and any labels in appropriate condition.

You may inspect goods as you would reasonably be able to in a shop, but the amount refunded may be reduced where handling has gone beyond what is reasonably necessary and has reduced the value of the goods.

What if I've worn or used an item before returning it?

A refund may be reduced if an item has been worn, used, damaged or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and this has reduced its value.

If you're unsure whether an item can be returned, please contact us before sending it back.

What if I received the wrong colour or wrong product?

Please contact us as soon as possible, quoting your order number and explaining what you ordered and what you received.

Do not send the item back before receiving the appropriate return instructions. The individual order may need to be checked before the next steps are confirmed.

What if something is missing from my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible and quote your order number, identifying the item or component you believe is missing.

The Jewellery Stop team will need to check the individual order and confirm the appropriate next step.

My item arrived damaged. Should I send it straight back?

No. Please contact us first, quoting your order number and explaining the damage.

We may need to check the individual order or ask for information such as photographs before providing the appropriate return instructions. Please do not send a damaged item back until you have been advised how to proceed.

Can the AI Assistant approve my refund, replacement or return?

No. The website's AI Assistant can explain factual store information and help you find the correct process, but individual refunds, replacements, complaints and other decisions requiring investigation or judgement must be handled by The Jewellery Stop team.

Why might an international return need different instructions?

International returns can involve additional shipping, customs, duties, taxes or destination-specific requirements. Please request the return before sending anything back and follow the instructions provided for the particular order.

Will duties and taxes always be refunded on an international change-of-mind return?

We do not give a universal answer for every international change-of-mind return. The treatment of duties and taxes can depend on the destination, the circumstances of the return, applicable consumer rights and the terms applying to the international transaction.

Please contact us before returning an international order so that the relevant information for the particular order can be confirmed.

What happens if I paid for a premium delivery service and cancel the whole order?

Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel an entire eligible order, the applicable standard outbound delivery charge may be refundable. If you selected a more expensive premium delivery service, the additional amount above the standard delivery option may not be refundable.

Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for the full terms applying to your return.

Is the original delivery charge refunded if I return only part of my order?

For a partial return, the original outbound delivery charge is generally not refunded because the delivery service still applied to the items you kept.

Different rights may apply where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described.

Can I return an item bought at a show or event through the website return system?

Purchases made at shows and markets may be separately managed from website orders. Please contact us with information about where and when the item was purchased so that we can direct your enquiry appropriately.

Do not assume that the website customer-account return process applies to an event purchase.

Can I return something bought in the Kings Heath shop using the online return process?

The online customer-account return process is designed for website orders. If your purchase was made in the Kings Heath shop, please contact us or visit the shop during opening hours so that the appropriate process can be explained.

Can I cancel an order before it is dispatched?

You can submit a cancellation request through your customer account, or contact us as soon as possible quoting your order number.

If the order has already entered processing or been dispatched, it may not be possible to stop it. Your normal cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

How will I know whether my return has been approved?

Please follow the return-request process and any messages or instructions provided for your order. If your return requires investigation or a decision by The Jewellery Stop team, they will need to confirm the appropriate next step.

Products & Jewellery

How do I find matching jewellery?

Where matching or coordinating items are available, you'll find them displayed on the individual product page.

For example, a necklace product page may show coordinating earrings or bracelets where we have them available.

If no matching items are displayed, they may currently be out of stock or unavailable.

Are the colours exactly as shown on the website?

We take care to represent our products and colours as accurately as reasonably possible. However, colours can appear differently depending on your screen, device and display settings.

Some of our jewellery also uses handmade, natural or individually produced components, so slight variations in colour, pattern or finish may occur between individual pieces.

Will my jewellery be exactly the same as the photograph?

We aim to photograph and describe our products as accurately as possible.

Some jewellery may contain handmade, natural or individually produced components, which can result in small variations in colour, pattern, shape or finish.

These variations are part of the individual character of the product rather than necessarily being a fault.

Are product measurements exact?

Measurements shown on our product pages are provided as a useful guide.

Small variations may occur, particularly with handmade or individually produced items. Where the precise size or fit of an item is important to you, please contact us before ordering and we'll help where we reasonably can.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Please follow any specific care information provided with your jewellery or shown on the individual product page.

As a general precaution, we recommend treating jewellery carefully and avoiding unnecessary contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics and household products. Store your jewellery carefully when it isn't being worn and avoid unnecessary knocks, pulling or pressure.

As materials and finishes vary between products, please don't use jewellery cleaners or cleaning methods unless you know they are suitable for the particular item.

Will an out-of-stock item come back into stock?

Some products may become available again, but we cannot guarantee that an out-of-stock item will be restocked.

Our collections change regularly and some designs may be discontinued or only available in limited quantities.

If you're interested in a particular item, please use any back-in-stock notification option shown on the product page, where available, or contact us and we'll provide any information we have.

What if I can't find an item I have seen on the website before?

If you previously saw an item but can no longer find it, it is likely to be currently unavailable, out of stock, discontinued or unavailable for your selected destination.

Try the website search and relevant product category, and make sure the correct country or region is selected. If you still cannot find it, please contact us with as much information as you remember and we'll help where we can.

How do I know whether a product is currently available?

Please check the individual product page. Shopify displays the current online availability information for that product or variant.

Stock can occasionally change quickly, and an item is not finally secured until the order is completed and successfully fulfilled.

Where can I find the size or measurements of a product?

Please check the individual product description. Where measurements are available, they are normally included there.

Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise, particularly for handmade or individually produced products.

Where can I find the materials or composition of a product?

Please check the individual product description. Materials and compositions vary between jewellery, scarves and other products, so the information for the specific product is the reliable source.

Can I assume all Watch This Space jewellery uses the same materials?

No. Materials and components vary between designs. Watch This Space pieces may use materials such as resin, pewter, aluminium, wood, silver leaf, skeletal leaf, dried flowers or shell, depending on the design.

Please check the individual product description for the materials used in the particular piece you're considering.

Are all your jewellery components nickel free and hypo-allergenic?

Do not assume that a description applying to one design automatically applies to every product. Please check the individual product page for the jewellery you're considering.

Where a product description specifically states that its jewellery components are nickel free or hypo-allergenic, that information applies to the product described.

Are all your earring hooks nickel free or hypo-allergenic?

Earring findings and materials can vary between designs, so please check the individual product description for the earrings you're considering.

If the information you need about a specific earring hook or fitting is not stated, please contact us before ordering rather than assuming the specification.

Are your earrings suitable for sensitive ears?

Please check the individual product page for the materials and any nickel-free or hypo-allergenic information stated for that design.

Individual sensitivities and allergies vary, so we cannot guarantee that a particular product will be suitable for every person. If you need information that is not shown on the product page, please contact us before ordering.

How do I compare the size of two necklaces or earrings?

Check the measurements in the individual product descriptions and compare the component sizes, overall length and any extension-chain information shown.

Where both products provide measurements, these are more reliable than judging size from photographs alone.

Can you help me choose between two products?

Yes. The website's AI shopping assistant can help compare products using reliable information such as colour, style, dimensions, materials and the preferences you provide.

Product pages remain the source for current product specifications and availability.

How do I find an exact matching necklace, earrings or bracelet?

Where matching or coordinating items are currently available, they may be shown on the individual product page.

If a matching item is not displayed, it may be unavailable or out of stock. Please do not assume that two products form a matching set simply because they share a colour name or similar appearance.

What if the matching earrings or necklace are not shown on the product page?

If matching or coordinating jewellery is not shown, it may currently be unavailable, out of stock or not offered for that particular design.

You can still browse alternatives by colour or style, but they should not be treated as an exact matching set unless the product information confirms that relationship.

Do products with the same colour name always match exactly?

No. Products sharing a colour name are not necessarily identical in shade, finish, material or design.

Where an exact matching relationship matters, check the related or matching information on the individual product page rather than relying only on the colour name.

Which items can I use the 5cm extension chain with?

The 5cm extension chain is compatible with most necklaces, bracelets and pendants where suitable jump rings and/or compatible attachment points are present.

Please check the product pages for the extension chain and the jewellery you want to use it with. Compatibility can vary between designs, so do not assume it will fit every item.

Does the extension chain fit every Watch This Space necklace?

No. Although the extension chain can be used with many necklaces and other suitable pieces, compatibility depends on the jump rings and attachment points on the individual design.

Please check the relevant product page before ordering, and contact us if compatibility is not clear.

Can the extension chain be used with bracelets or pendants?

It can be used with many necklaces, bracelets and pendants where suitable jump rings and/or compatible attachment points exist.

Please check the individual product information because compatibility is not guaranteed across every design.

Does appearing under Related Items guarantee that two products are compatible?

No. Related-product recommendations can help you discover other items, but they should not by themselves be treated as a technical compatibility guarantee.

For compatibility such as an extension chain fitting a particular piece, rely on the product information or contact us if it is unclear.

Where can I find scarf or pashmina dimensions?

Please check the individual scarf or pashmina product description. Where dimensions are available, they are normally stated there.

Where can I find a scarf or pashmina's fabric composition?

Please check the individual product description. Compositions vary between scarves and pashminas, so the specific product page is the reliable source.

What does reversible mean on a scarf or pashmina?

A reversible scarf or pashmina is designed so that more than one side or colour treatment can be worn or displayed.

The exact reversible effect varies by design, so please check the individual product description and photographs to see how that particular product is made.

How do I know whether a scarf is lightweight or suitable for a season?

Please use the individual product description, including its fabric composition, weight, dimensions and any seasonal or texture information stated there.

We do not apply one seasonal rule to every scarf because materials and weights vary considerably between designs.

Why can the colour look slightly different in person?

Screen type, brightness, colour settings and lighting can all affect how a colour appears. Handmade, natural or individually produced components can also have small variations between pieces.

We take reasonable care to represent products accurately, but an exact screen-to-product colour match cannot be guaranteed.

Why might two pieces of the same design look slightly different?

Some products contain handmade, natural or individually produced components. Small differences in colour, pattern, texture, shape, finish or dimensions can therefore occur and are part of the character of the product rather than necessarily being a fault.

Are product photographs to scale?

Do not rely on photographs alone to judge exact size. Please use the measurements stated in the individual product description, as image size and screen display can make products appear larger or smaller than they are.

Can you guarantee an item is physically in stock before it is picked?

The website shows current online availability, but we cannot guarantee physical stock until an order has been picked and packed. Very occasionally a stock discrepancy can occur or an item may sell before the website information updates.

Can you tell me exactly when a sold-out item will return?

Only where we have confirmed restock information. Some products return to stock, while others are discontinued or available only in limited quantities.

We do not promise a restock date unless one has genuinely been confirmed.

Can the AI Assistant quote a product price?

Please use the individual product page for the current price applying to your selected country or region. Prices can vary internationally because of currency, taxes, duties and other destination-specific factors.

The AI shopping assistant can help you find and compare products, but the product page and checkout are the reliable sources for current pricing.

Is the website chat a human member of staff?

No. The website assistant is JS, The Jewellery Stop's AI shopping and information assistant. Customers may also call the assistant Jess.

It can help with shopping, product information, policies and authorised order information, but it is not a human member of staff or a live staff chat.

Can the AI Assistant see my order?

Only where Shopify's authorised customer and order features make the information available after the appropriate sign-in or authentication.

The AI Assistant cannot bypass authentication and should not ask you to type passwords, full card details or other security information into the conversation.

Why is the AI Assistant asking me to sign in?

Some order-specific information is protected and can only be accessed through Shopify's authorised customer sign-in and order-lookup process.

Signing in allows available order information to be retrieved securely without asking you to provide sensitive account or payment information in chat.

Can the AI Assistant investigate a delivery problem or complaint?

The AI Assistant can provide factual information, explain tracking or policy information that is available and direct you to the appropriate next step.

It cannot carry out a human investigation, make a business decision or resolve an individual complaint. Those matters need The Jewellery Stop team to help directly.

Will the AI Assistant notify the team if I report a problem in chat?

No. Do not assume that a member of The Jewellery Stop team is monitoring or automatically receiving the AI conversation.

If your issue needs human investigation, judgement or action, you need to contact the team through the established customer-service routes.

What is the best way to contact The Jewellery Stop team?

Email is our preferred written customer-service route. You can also use the Contact Page, or telephone during normal office hours.

If your question concerns an existing order, include your order number so the team can help more quickly.

What information should I include when contacting you about an order?

Please include your order number and a concise explanation of what you need help with. If an item is faulty, damaged, missing or incorrect, identify the relevant item and explain the problem.

Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, card security codes or banking security information.

Can I speak to a person instead of using the AI Assistant?

Yes. The AI Assistant is an optional shopping and information tool rather than a replacement for The Jewellery Stop team.

You can contact the team by email, through the Contact Page, or by telephone during office hours.

Are purchases at shows and events handled by the same business as the website?

The Jewellery Stop (Online) Limited operates this website and the Kings Heath shop. Shows and events are independently managed and run by Tora (Victoria McGowan-Smyth), who separately trades as The Jewellery Stop.

Event ranges, stock and prices may differ from those on this website or in the Kings Heath shop.

What if I have a problem with something bought at a show or market?

Please contact us with information about the event and purchase, and we can help direct your enquiry appropriately.

Do not assume that the website customer-account or online return process applies to a separately managed event purchase.

Do the events carry exactly the same products and prices as the website?

No. Tora may carry a different selection, including newer, exclusive or unique designs, and event stock and prices may differ from those available through The Jewellery Stop (Online) Limited website and Kings Heath shop.
